The Republican representative David McCormick defeated the incumbent Democratic Senator Bob Casey in the federal senatorial election in Pennsylvania, according to foreign media reports. McCormick, who previously served as the CEO of Bridgewater Associates, graduated from West Point Military Academy and also worked in the George W. Bush administration.
