The Kintsu liquid staking protocol has officially launched on the Monad mainnet, introducing the Kintsu Points program as a basis for the future distribution of the KSU governance token. This program is designed to reward early and active participants in the Monad ecosystem. Users can accumulate points by staking MON tokens, using sMON in DeFi applications and lending markets, as well as through referral activities and holding eligible NFTs.

Not only encouraging, Kintsu Points also play an important role in governance. Early participants will be given priority governance rights, including the ability to influence the selection of validators on Monad. This approach helps to link the security of the network with the tangible contributions of the community, while positioning Kintsu as a core liquid staking layer on Monad, combining yield and on-chain governance.
