Strategy increased its total assets to 553,555 BTC by buying out 15,355 Bitcoin between April 21 and April 27.
According to the notification made to the (SEC) by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the total cost of the last purchase was 1 billion 420 million dollars, and the average purchase price was realized at the level of 92 thousand 737 dollars per BTC.
The founder of Strategy, Michael Saylor, stated that the company has spent approximately 38 billion dollars on all the BTC it has acquired so far. The company’s holding of 553,555 BTC corresponds to 2.6% of the total supply of Bitcoin, and the profit it has provided to Strategy is at the level of 14 billion dollars.
The latest BTC purchases were financed by the company’s sales programs for MSTR ( common stock and STRK ) preferred stock.
The MSTR stock of Strategy closed at $368.71 last Friday, up 5.2%, and has gained 22.9% since the beginning of the year. The company’s market value stands at $98.1 billion.
