MicroStrategy Inc. has purchased an additional 18,300 Bitcoins for approximately $1.11 billion.
The statement from the company indicated that the purchases made between August 6 and September 12 were made using the proceeds from the issuance and sale of shares.
The company currently has 244,800 Bitcoins in its portfolio.
The announcement from MicroStrategy stated that Bitcoins were purchased at an approximate total purchase price of 9.45 billion dollars and an average purchase price of 38,585 dollars.
