  • Pi Network launched a free Product Design Workshop teaching UX/UI, prototyping, testing, and launch steps for Pi Apps.
  • **The workshop ties into Pi tools like App Studio and supports non-coders in building apps with built-in Pi utility. **

Pi Network has introduced a Product Design Workshop aimed at helping community members turn concepts into working Pi Apps. The program follows a design-to-launch approach and guides participants from the initial idea through user flow planning, prototyping, development, and final release preparation. The design workshop is targeting Pi Network pioneers, hackathon developers, and Web3 content creators looking to create apps that work smoothly within the Pi ecosystem. The workshop has been designed to cater to participants without deep technical backgrounds by focusing on practical skills.

The workshop focuses on user experience and interface skills, with training on how to map interactions and create smoother journeys inside an app. Participants are guided on how to build interactive prototypes that can be tested before development work begins.  This approach will enable participants to validate their Web3 ideas early and cut down wasted effort during the build stages. The sessions will also teach how to identify unclear features and simplify workflows. Pi Network frames the program as a structured path for taking an idea from concept to a launch-ready application. Also, the new product design workshop fits in the wider push by Pi Network to empower its ecosystem by assisting Pioneers and developers. Most recently, CNF reported that the network added simulated USDT to its testnet wallet. This allowed users to practice sending and receiving tokens and test DeFi features ahead of the mainnet. Integration with Pi App Studio and No-Code Tools Pi Network connects the workshop to its development stack, including tools intended to lower the barrier to app building. It comes as the network promotes App Studio updates that support no-code creation for certain application types.  Previously, CNF covered Pi Network’s Creator Event and the latest Pi App Studio upgrades aimed at lowering the cost and complexity of building apps for everyday users. The update introduced survey-based Pi credits and new no-code tools. Therefore, the workshop positions product design as a core step in expanding the Pi app ecosystem, with a focus on practical user interactions and clearer utility planning. It provides a learning track that combines UX methods, prototype testing, and build guidance in one workflow.  Pi Network presents the workshop as a way for more participants to create functional applications that fit expected user behavior patterns. The program is available to a global community and is a free resource for aspiring builders.  At the time of reporting, PI was trading at $0.1729, with a market cap of $1.44 billion and a 24-hour trading volume of $12.91 million.

Pi Network PIRC baseline protection mechanism sparks controversy, implying a “quasi-stablecoin” logic

Pi Network member Daniel F raised a logical contradiction in the PIRC token design, noting that if it has a 23.8% floor protection, it would need to behave like a stablecoin, which conflicts with its high volatility on CEX. This floor is based on Pi’s price calculations; if Pi itself fluctuates significantly, it will be unable to effectively protect holders. Daniel emphasized the importance of transparency, but the project team did not respond to it, leading the community to continue speculating about the reasons for its silence.
