Paradigm promises to provide $1.25 million in funding for Tornado Cash co-founders for legal defense

BlockBeats news, on January 29th, according to The Block, Matt Huang, co-founder of Paradigm, announced that the encryption venture capital firm will donate $1.25 million to support the legal defense of Roman Storm, the developer of Tornado Cash, against the U.S. lawsuit. Storm and Roman Semenov co-founded Tornado Cash, an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency mixer, and both were charged with Money Laundering by the U.S. Department of Justice in 2023.
