Earlier that day, the Israeli military said Hezbollah had fired at the Mount Dov area controlled by Israel on the Lebanon-Israel border. Hezbollah said the target of the attack was an Israeli military outpost in the disputed border area between Lebanon and Israel, and the shelling was a warning against “Israel’s repeated violations of the ceasefire protocol.”
