Gate.io data on July 17th, due to the strong pump in consumer prices in the UK in June, especially in the service sector, hotel prices (which can be called the Taylor Swift effect), traders have reduced their bets on an interest rate cut by the Merkez Bankası in August. The probability of a 25 basis point rate cut has dropped from 41% to around 27%. The currency market has also fallen on the possibility of a rate cut in September, and is no longer briefly pricing in two rate cuts in December as it did on Tuesday.
