Renowned cryptocurrency analyst Willy Woo stated that if a quantum computer hacker attack triggers a flash crash, Bitcoin OG will buy Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin.
It is reported that Satoshi Nakamoto holds approximately 1.1 million Bitcoins, which were mainly mined during the early stages of Bitcoin (from January 2009 to mid-2010), distributed across over 22,000 addresses, accounting for about 5.2% of the total Bitcoin supply, making it the largest known Bitcoin holder.
As of July 2025, with Bitcoin reaching a new all-time high of $122,000, Satoshi Nakamoto’s net worth is estimated to be around $134 billion. This scale places him at 11th on the global billionaire list, surpassing tech billionaires like Michael Dell, and second only to Oracle founder Larry Ellison. Based on the current Bitcoin price (about $89,000), these BTC are worth approximately $97.9 billion.
If Bitcoin’s price rises further to $370,000 per coin—predicted by some analysts for the next market cycle—Satoshi Nakamoto’s net assets would exceed $400 billion, making him the world’s wealthiest person, surpassing Elon Musk, whose estimated wealth is about $404 billion. (Cointelegraph)
