According to ChainCatcher news and a report by DigitalAsset, a representative of the South Korean crypto asset exchange Bitsonic has been sentenced to 6 months in prison for being involved in a fraud case amounting to 100 million Korean won. Previously, this representative had been sentenced to 7 years in prison for another fraud case. This fraud involved inducing trades through false announcements, artificially inflating the volume and market capitalization of Bitsonic Coin (BSC), thereby deceiving customers out of a total of 160 million Korean won.
