Initial Listing: Gate and Gate Perp DEX to Simultaneously List XAU and XAG Perpetual Contracts (USDT-M)

Gate will launch perpetual contract trading for XAUUSDT and XAGUSDT perpetual contracts (USDT-M) on January 14, 2026, 09:00 (UTC). Traders can go long or short with 1x to 50x leverage. Trading will also be available on Gate Perp DEX at the same time.

• If there is significant price volatility in the early stages, the contract listing time may be postponed, and the exact time will be adjusted based on actual market conditions.
• To manage market risk and optimize user experience, Gate may adjust trading parameters such as funding rates, tick size, maximum leverage, risk limits, maintenance margin, and other perpetual contract parameters as needed.
• The contract's mark price will continue to follow the standard calculation methodology. However, because the external markets referenced by the index operate on specific trading schedules, the index price will enter a quote-hold state during non-regular trading hours, remaining fixed at the last valid quote prior to the start of such periods. When trading these contracts, users are advised to closely monitor the activity of the external reference markets, set take-profit and stop-loss orders prudently, and be aware of potential price volatility resulting from changes in market liquidity.
