CastleIsland Ventures Co-founder: Elliptic Curve Cryptography Will Soon Be Obsolete, Developers Should Quickly Realize the Need to Build Cryptographic Algorithm Flexibility into Networks

Golden Finance reports that on March 26, Nic Carter, co-founder of Castle Island Ventures, posted on X stating that elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) is on the verge of being phased out. Whether it’s three years or ten, this era is over, and we must accept this fact.
The only thing that matters is how quickly blockchain developers realize they need to introduce adaptable cryptographic mechanisms into the network. Of course, this will require a complete reimagining of how these systems work. Currently, encryption mechanisms are hardcoded into the systems, but that will have to change.
Ethereum developers have already recognized this. Others still seem to be paralyzed by fear. Unless the situation changes rapidly, the ETH/BTC price will start to reflect this divergence in priorities.
