PANews 3月5日消息，据CoinDesk报道，加密行业政治行动委员会Fairshake在2026年美国国会中期选举的首轮初选中取得初步胜利。Fairshake支持的多位亲加密候选人在周二举行的初选中获胜，其中包括特朗普支持的共和党人Jessica Steinmann以近70%得票率赢得得州第8选区共和党初选，以及获得超40万美元广告支持的众议院金融服务委员会主席French Hill以77%得票率轻松获胜。
Fairshake在此次初选中的一项重要努力是试图将加密批评者、得州民主党众议员Al Green淘汰出局。在重新划分选区的第18选区，Green在初选中落后于支持区块链的对手Christian Menefee，由于双方得票均未过半数，将进入后续决选。
