Stablecoin USDsui của Sui, do công ty Bridge thuộc sở hữu của Stripe phát hành, đã chính thức ra mắt trên mainnet.
Theo thông báo hôm thứ Tư, “Sui Dollar” được thiết kế như một đồng đô la số thống nhất, phục vụ tài chính có khả năng mở rộng và thanh toán toàn cầu. Stablecoin này có thể truy cập trên các ví, giao thức DeFi và ứng dụng xây dựng trên Sui, đồng thời tương thích với các stablecoin khác do Bridge phát hành.
Được công bố từ tháng 11 năm ngoái, USDsui được thiết kế tuân thủ GENIUS Act — đạo luật về stablecoin của Mỹ đã được thông qua năm 2025. Trước đó, Tổng thống Donald Trump cho rằng GENIUS Act đang bị các ngân hàng “đe dọa và làm suy yếu”, trong bối cảnh tranh cãi về việc trả lợi suất cho stablecoin vẫn gây chia rẽ giữa ngành ngân hàng và crypto.
Sui được phát triển bởi các kỹ sư từng tham gia dự án Diem của Meta. Đơn vị phát triển cốt lõi đứng sau Sui là Mysten Labs, với mục tiêu xây dựng một mạng lưới vượt trội về tốc độ và khả năng mở rộng.
Sui Foundation cho biết việc ra mắt một đồng đô la số gốc trên mạng lưới sẽ mở rộng bộ công cụ cho nhà phát triển, tổ chức và người dùng trong việc xây dựng thế hệ dịch vụ tài chính gốc internet tiếp theo.
