PANews 2月21日消息，加密做市商Wintermute创始人Evgeny Gaevoy近日在《财富》杂志旗下Crypto Playbook播客中表示，尽管行业正迎来亲区块链政府与华尔街采用等利好，加密行业却逐渐被“只追求价格上涨（number go up）”的思维主导，偏离了最初的密码朋克（cypherpunk）理念，比特币最初旨在构建一种脱离政府与银行控制的去中心化货币体系，但当前行业的发展方向却更多围绕金融化与投机展开，加密行业未来应该重新回归密码朋克精神，而非全面融入华尔街。
此外，针对以太坊与Solana等公链之争，Evgeny Gaevoy指出市场忽略了核心问题，即去中心化应用的真实采用仍十分有限，尽管以太坊生态总锁仓价值（TVL）超过1200亿美元，但其中多数为“沉淀资金”，真正融入实体经济活动的比例极低，与传统金融体系（TradFi）相比仍微不足道。
