"It's not that I can't afford to play anymore, it's that the crypto world won't let me play."

This morning, I just finished chatting with a friend who had traded crypto for six or seven years. He said he was quitting the circle.

It doesn't look like he's just venting—he's really quitting. Uninstalled exchanges, left group chats, deleted market apps.

He got in pretty early, bought BTC when it was over twenty thousand, bought ETH when it was just a few hundred. He should have made a decent profit by now. But in between, he switched to altcoins, chased hot trends, used leverage, tried to catch the bottom but bought halfway down the cliff. By the end of the cycle, he basically lost it all.
