Title: The Art of Survival.. 4 Golden Rules for Trading Risk Management (Before Thinking About Profits) 🛡️💰
In the crypto market, making a profit is easy, but preserving it is the real challenge. The difference between a professional trader and a beginner is not in "prediction accuracy," but in "strict risk management."
Here are the most important points that should be your daily constitution:
1. The 1% Rule (Capital Protection) 📉
Never risk more than 1% to 2% of your total capital on a single trade.
• Why? So you can return to the market even if you lose 10 consecutive trades. Losses are part of the game; the important thing is not to suffer a catastrophic loss that completely takes you out of the game.
2. Risk/Reward Ratio (Risk/Reward Ratio) ⚖️
Before entering any trade, ask yourself: How much will I profit compared to what I might lose?
• The rule: Do not enter a trade where the risk ratio is 1:1. Always look for trades with ratios of 1:2 or 1:3.
• This means that even if your win rate is only 40%, you will still be profitable at the end of the month because your profits are greater than your losses.
3. "Stop Loss" Order (Stop Loss) is not an option! 🛑
Trading without a stop loss is financial suicide.
• The market is volatile, and violent movements can happen in seconds. A stop loss is the "safety belt" that exits you from the trade when your analysis proves to be wrong, before a small loss turns into a disaster that is hard to fix.
4. Avoid "Revenge Trading" (Revenge Trading) 🧠
The most dangerous type of trading is the one that occurs immediately after a loss.
• When you lose a trade, the hormone "cortisol" rises, and anger controls your decisions, prompting you to quickly open a new trade to recover the loss.
• The solution: if you lose a trade, close the screen immediately. The market won't run away, and your mind needs to regain its calm to see opportunities clearly.
In summary..
Risk management is what allows you to sleep peacefully even if the market is in the red. A successful trader is a "sniper" waiting for the right opportunity, not a "fighter" entering every battle.
