So I've been looking into mobile crypto mining lately, and honestly it's way more accessible than I thought. There are legit apps out there that let you mine right from your phone, though I gotta say the returns are pretty modest compared to what you'd get with proper hardware.

I checked out a few options. CryptoTab is pretty straightforward if you just want to start mining BTC without much hassle. You download it, set up your wallet, and it runs in the background. They've got this referral thing too where you can earn more if you get friends to join. Then there's StormGain which is solid for casual miners, though you gotta restart every 4 hours which gets annoying. NiceHash is more for people who actually know what they're doing since it's got advanced features and a profitability calculator. Bitdeer appeals to serious miners with better hardware setups and multiple coin options.

As for cloud mining through major exchanges, you can basically rent hashrate and let someone else do the heavy lifting. It's less hassle but you're paying for the service obviously.

Now about which coins are easiest to mine on phones in 2024? From what I'm seeing, Monero (XMR) around $340 is popular, Dogecoin (DOGE) at $0.09 is another one people mention, Vertcoin and Ravencoin (RVN) at $0.01 also come up. Bitcoin itself though? Mining one BTC at current price of $71.30K would take forever on a phone. Like literally weeks or months of continuous mining. That's why most people either use cloud services or just mine smaller altcoins.

Honestly the real question isn't whether you can mine on your phone, it's whether it's worth your time and electricity costs. If you're in a region with cheap power and don't mind passive income, go for it. If you're expecting to get rich quick, that's not happening. The best approach is to try it out with a free app first, see how it goes, and then decide if you want to invest in actual cloud mining products. Just do your research before committing any money.
BTC-1,2%
DOGE-0,3%
RVN-0,05%
