The Iranian parliament proposes a permanent ban on oil tankers related to the U.S. and Israel passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Mars Finance reports that on April 10, according to market sources, Ebrahim Azizi, Chairman of Iran’s Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, stated that the parliament has proposed a bill to permanently ban oil tankers associated with the United States and Israel from passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Ships associated with Israel or traveling to and from Israel will also be prohibited from passing, and this ban will also apply to countries taking action against the “Resistance Front.” (Jin10)
