The European Parliament approves the US-Europe trade agreement.

Mars Finance reports that on March 26, the European Parliament held a plenary vote on the EU-U.S. trade agreement, which was ultimately approved. The European Parliament’s Committee on International Trade voted on March 19 with 29 votes in favor to resume the legislative approval process related to the EU-U.S. trade agreement. The trade deal between Europe and the U.S. was reached in July 2025. The EU needs to eliminate tariffs on U.S. industrial products and provide preferential market access for U.S. seafood and agricultural products in exchange for the U.S. imposing a 15% tariff on most EU exports to the U.S. (CCTV News)
