Looking at the @Gate_zh 13th anniversary poster, my thoughts instantly drifted back to 2013.

Back then there was no Web3, only the crazy electronic trading of postal stamps, coins, and cards. I was arbitraging between Beijing Fuliete and Nanjing Cultural Exchange, making a little money 🤪
In 2015 the regulatory hammer came down, and the small Calamity Card Cultural Exchange I was heavily invested in directly ran off with the funds, completely messing with my head.
That major setback made me hesitant for several years. I held onto my trading exchange account registered in 2014, and out of fear perfectly missed the early surge of BTC.
If I had chosen the right platform back then, the outcome might have been different. But it was precisely that zeroing-out experience that made me place greater emphasis on platform safety and compliance.
Gate has endured 13 years, always at the forefront—that's the greatest success! Some platforms became fleeting clouds, while others became part of our crypto life.
I just dug out the skateboard Gate sent me before—it's really cool! Wishing Gate to grow stronger and achieve even greater glory!
