Ethereum Foundation Launches "strawmap" Roadmap Planning Seven Forks by the End of 2029
Ethereum Foundation researcher Justin Drake announced the launch of the "strawmap" roadmap, which plans for seven forks by the end of 2029.
The roadmap includes five objectives: fast L1 finality, a "gigagas" L1 achieving 10k TPS via zkEVM, a "teragas" L2 achieved through data availability sampling, post-quantum cryptography, and native L1 privacy for shielding ETH transfers.
