USD1's most underestimated advantage today is actually its moat in market making and depth!

Many stablecoins can increase their issuance, but they can't sustain trading volume and order book depth, ultimately remaining at the level of existing assets. People hold them passively, and when they truly need to exchange, settle, or price, they still return to the liquidity pools of those established stablecoins.
USD1 is different. Its 24-hour trading volume has already reached the billion-dollar level, which means it has entered the core liquidity pools of market makers and exchanges, beginning to meet real turnover demands. For stablecoins, this step is more critical than just market cap because depth determines usability, and trading volume shows whether people are actively using it.
Once the market-making ecosystem takes shape, the replacement cost will rise rapidly. The more trading pairs there are, the thicker the order book, the lower the slippage, and the more willing funds are to treat it as a default transfer station; the more concentrated the funds, the deeper the depth becomes. This is a typical self-reinforcing cycle—winning not through narratives but through liquidity structure.
Therefore, USD1's competitive edge is no longer just about higher yields but about building itself into an unescapable liquidity layer. When the market truly gets used to using it for pricing, settlement, and collateral, it will no longer be just an active asset on a platform but an increasingly hard-to-replace liquidity pool!
