For some time now, I've been telling my friends that even if the US stock market drops, it's very unlikely to fall for an entire year like in 2022, so we shouldn't repeat the history of both stocks and cryptocurrencies falling together in 2022. A more likely scenario is that the relationship between the US stock market and the crypto market will resemble the trend of Bitcoin and altcoins in 2024 and 2025: moving in the same direction—either up or down—but with one oscillating upward and the other oscillating downward. The main reason is the continued lack of liquidity in the crypto market, with more funds flowing into US stocks, A-shares, Hong Kong stocks, and other markets to play with small-cap altcoins and options.
