Prediction market Polymarket makes another move. Trump officially announced that a Venezuela-related leaker has been arrested and imprisoned, and their associated account on the platform has been deleted. This operation directly removed all transaction records and account information of that user on the platform. The security and regulatory compliance of prediction market accounts have once again become a focus.

Huh? The account was directly deleted? What about the transaction history? Is it gone just like that?

It's Polymarket causing trouble again; just delete the account if you want.

Transaction records can be deleted at will—what kind of powerful authority is that... Who really has the final say in polymarket?

Oh no, Polymarket is causing trouble again. Deleting accounts and wiping out all transaction records—this is really ruthless.
Deleting accounts directly results in all transaction history being gone. Isn't that a bit too extreme? What about users' funds?
Honestly, there's still no clear regulation. When political winds blow, accounts just disappear. Who dares to play properly?
What's going on with this platform? Now even prediction markets can be operated like this—it's still too centralized.
I feel like I need to be more cautious in the future. Accounts could be mysteriously cleared at any time. Aren't you afraid?

Here we go again. The Polymarket platform is really inconsistent, deleting accounts on a whim. What kind of transparency is this...
