The probability of a Fed rate cut in January has plummeted to just 5%. Following three consecutive rate cuts, the central bank is now expected to hit pause. This shift signals a turning point—the era of easy money is likely behind us, which carries significant implications for risk assets and crypto market dynamics.

A 5% chance? Is the Federal Reserve really starting to care about money... The era of easy money is really gone just like that.

Yiyue Tian, a 5% probability... The Federal Reserve really wants to keep us on the edge of our seats. After three consecutive cuts, they say pause, this turn is really steep. Is the era of easy money really coming to an end? The crypto circle is probably going to tremble again.

nah actually statistically speaking, a 5% cut probability is basically the fed telling us they're done playing nice. reminds me of UST in may—everyone thought the easy money would flow forever til it didn't. risk-adjusted returns are about to get absolutely brutal out here
