Closing a volatile 2025, Bitcoin enters 2026 with renewed upside potential.

I expect a phase in 2026 where BTC shifts into a more “easy mode,” especially for short-term holders. After prolonged, painful volatility, market structure often becomes more favorable.

In 2025, positive news frequently failed to reflect in price, but deep corrections helped raise the cycle’s price floor. I believe the disconnect between news and price will gradually narrow.

From this lens, a $140K–$170K BTC range in the medium term looks reasonable.
Context matters: • BTC closed Q4 down ~23% — the second worst Q4 in its history

• ETH fell ~28%, also among its weakest Q4s ever
Historically, these difficult endings often set the stage for revaluation. As we move into 2026, both BTC and ETH remain firmly on the radar of retail and institutions alike.
