The most outrageous statement heard in 2025: Bitcoin claims to be "digital gold" on one hand, and on the other hand, says it wants to replace gold.

This logic is truly incredible. If it wants to replace gold, why does it need to carry the name "gold" to boost its own reputation? Frankly, it's like a newcomer claiming to be an independent new species, while also relying on the fame of its predecessors to prove itself — isn't that just shooting itself in the foot?

Either firmly promote "I am a different asset class," or admit that it is the digital version of gold. Trying to have both is a contradiction that simply doesn't make sense.

Haha, this logic is truly absurd. Claiming to want a revolution but still relying on the "gold" shell to attract people—it's really embarrassing. --- Bitcoin: I am independent, I am gold, and I still want to kill gold—it's okay, this is normal. --- A typical case of wanting to have both fish and bear's paw but failing at both, which is called wanting it all. --- Honestly, it's a lack of confidence. Either become a completely independent new species, or honestly serve as a digital gold substitute. But insisting on wavering in the middle ends up offending both sides. --- I just want to know how many people have been deceived into buying by this contradictory rhetoric.

Haha, this logic is indeed tangled. Wanting to ride the gold hype but also wanting to kill it, a typical case of wanting to have it both ways.

Honestly, the logical flaw is so huge it's ridiculous, it feels like a backdoor listing haha

Honestly, the "digital gold" meme has long outstayed its welcome. There's no point in arguing with too many bandwagoners.

Laughing to death, this is called wanting it all, wanting it all, and still being able to get it.

Haha, this logic is indeed absurd. Using the name of gold to try to kill gold—it's hilarious.

Well, this logic indeed doesn't hold up. Wanting a revolution but also wanting to leverage fame—it's a bit awkward.
