#数字资产市场动态 Recently, a major exchange adjusted its payment policies for users in Ukraine, which has attracted a lot of attention. Let me clarify what exactly happened.
What are the main changes? The Visa and Mastercard withdrawal channels through payment service provider Bifinity UAB have been suspended, due to regulatory environment changes and the fact that this service provider will cease operations at the end of the month.
But here’s a very important detail — **the impact is actually quite limited**. Only Ukrainian users who previously used Bifinity services will be affected; it does not mean that all Ukrainian users are restricted.
The most critical point: core trading functions remain completely unaffected! Buying, selling, depositing, and withdrawing operations continue as usual. Ukrainian users can still directly buy cryptocurrencies with Visa and Mastercard, and Apple Pay and Google Pay top-ups are still supported. Swift transfers for deposits and withdrawals are also unaffected. Essentially, the payment channels have been adjusted, but none of the functions that truly impact trading have been reduced.
For users active in this region, this is more of an optimization of payment routing rather than a restrictive measure.

ngl this reads like "we're shutting down one payment rail but pretending nothing changed" lmao... back in my mining days we used to call this the "liquidity illusion"

Wait, does that mean it doesn't really have much impact? To put it simply, just change the payment method, it's the old routine.

To be honest, this round of operations has been somewhat exaggerated. Bifinity going down is indeed a bit annoying, but the transactions will proceed as they should...

Another false alarm, upon closer inspection, there's really nothing major.
