Suddenly it’s New Year’s Eve again… and you’re wondering where the year even went.

Time didn’t always feel like this. When you were younger, days felt like years, summers dragged on, milestones felt far away.

Now everything blurs, weeks disappear, months go by without any notice and another year closes before you’ve fully processed the last one.

It’s not that time is moving faster, it’s that life is fuller, noisier and more fragmented. You’re constantly reacting instead of reflecting.

The scary part isn’t getting older, it’s realising how easy it is to drift through years without consciously choosing what they’re spent on.

Most people don’t waste time intentionally, they lose it slowly… to routines, distractions, 'to work' and 'I’ll get to it later'... and later never arrives.

New Year’s doesn’t demand reinvention, it’s just a reminder to be present before another year quietly passes you by.
