Digital trade tensions between Washington and Brussels are escalating, setting up what could be a significant friction point through 2025. With both sides tightening their positions on digital services, data flows, and tech regulations, expect spillover effects across global markets—including the crypto and blockchain sector. When traditional markets hit turbulence, alternative assets often feel the reverb. Keep an eye on how these policy standoffs play out; they could shape everything from stablecoin adoption to institutional crypto access in key regions.

actually... this is exactly the kind of regulatory theater that exposes the trust assumptions we've been glossing over. everyone's so worried about spillover effects, but ngl, have we considered how data flow restrictions directly undermine the cryptographic primitives we rely on? privacy by design isn't optional when governments start fragmenting internet infrastructure.

The US-Europe trade war has extended into the tech sector, and now the crypto world will also suffer. At that time, stablecoins and institutional entry will all depend on policy decisions, which is a bit frustrating.

Here we go again, US and Europe just talking trash, and crypto gets the blame again.

The US-Europe trade war has erupted, and now the entry of stablecoins and institutions will have to slow down again. So annoying.
