The crypto trading journey in 2025 has been quite volatile. From the moment Bitcoin broke $100,000 at the beginning of the year, I felt the market's vitality. Various small coins took turns performing throughout the year, and by the end of the year, there were many pullbacks. The entire process was clearly visible on a major exchange.

Honestly, the biggest takeaway this year wasn't how much I made, but truly understanding what risk management means. Strictly implementing stop-loss and take-profit strategies helped me avoid several major losses this year. At the same time, I paid close attention to fundamental changes—continuous capital inflows into Bitcoin ETFs, ongoing upgrades in the Ethereum ecosystem—these signals greatly aided my trading decisions.

In terms of tools, combining spot and futures trading has made me more adept at handling market fluctuations. My long-term strategy of holding BTC and BNB hasn't changed; I just now know better how to protect profits amid volatility.

Looking toward 2026, I remain optimistic about BTC and BNB. But rather than blindly chasing gains, I now focus on making every step clear. How was everyone’s trading approach last year? It seems everyone in the community has their own insights.
BTC-0,42%
ETH-0,02%
BNB-0,52%

Stop-loss and take-profit are easier to talk about than to actually do. I also learned after being trapped multiple times.

From a technical perspective, the methodology of stop-loss and take-profit indeed has data support, but it is worth noting that the execution rate among most retail investors is less than 30%. Your case is quite special.

Stop loss and take profit sound simple, but only after doing it do you realize how difficult it really is. I am now taught by being trapped. I wish I had realized the importance of risk management earlier; otherwise, I wouldn't have lost so much last year. I am indeed optimistic about BTC and BNB in the long term, but now is still a cautious time to enter, as I feel there will be more volatility for a while. Using both futures and spot trading together is definitely more comfortable than just playing with spot, but I need to control the desire for frequent operations. It's a bit regretful that I didn't fully catch the wave of 100,000 dollars; later, I made more profit by bottom fishing during the pullback, which is a bit ironic. Fundamental analysis is indeed important, but sometimes I still can't keep up with the main players' operation rhythm, which is really stressful. In 2026, I feel I should listen more to everyone's trading ideas; going solo easily leads to pitfalls.

Risk management is indeed a skill, but I'm more curious—do you really implement the stop-loss strategies so strictly? Honestly, I’m a bit envious; I wasn’t this rational last year. Really, can mixing spot and futures contracts still allow you to come out unscathed? The more I do it, the more chaotic it seems. Believing in BTC and BNB is correct, but the key is how to endure the next round of sharp declines through psychological resilience. No, do you think this logic would work in 2024? Just curious. The shift in ETF capital flows has indeed changed the game, and I agree with that. It all sounds right, but who can really do that in real trading? Tell me. Protecting profits during volatility sounds simple, but there are too many times when a pullback hits you hard. Long-term holding is fine, but the key is how not to be tempted to cut losses in the middle. Continuing to be bullish in 2026 but more cautious—that’s a good approach, but reality often goes the other way, haha.

Stop-loss and take-profit strategies really save lives; I almost got trapped to death last year.

People who set stop-loss and take-profit orders often live the longest; there's nothing wrong with that.

Stop-loss and take-profit are the true principles; blindly chasing gains is a strategy that should have been abandoned long ago.
