Recent week in the Web3 space has been full of hotspots and trending topics worth reviewing.

Starting at the project level, Metis launched the LazAI Alpha mainnet, while zCloak Network introduced the Gen-IP protocol, aiming to reshape AI collaboration models on the blockchain—these explorations combining AI and Web3 are becoming new hot tracks. Meanwhile, industry research institutions released an in-depth report for 2025, systematically analyzing funding data and market trends in the crypto space. These firsthand insights are helpful for understanding the current market pulse.

On the technical side, there is an interesting discussion—about the threat of quantum computing to blockchain. Honestly, the anxiety around quantum computing is often exaggerated. Many voices are advocating for an immediate full migration to post-quantum cryptography, but such arguments often overlook two issues: first, how high the costs and risks of early migration are; second, the threats faced by different cryptographic primitives vary greatly. Some encryption mechanisms indeed require focused prevention, while others may not be as urgent. Equating all risks can lead to resource waste and severe cost-benefit imbalance.

In simple terms, assessing the quantum threat requires more nuance—both to recognize real risks and to avoid blind reactions. The evolution of blockchain security should not be driven by panic.

As for quantum computing, I've heard too many anxious voices... There's really no need to panic so much; differentiated prevention is the key.

The topic of quantum computing is always talked about as if it's the end of the world, which is really a bit annoying... We still need to distinguish between genuine threats and excessive panic.

Once again, it's about hype around quantum threats, which is old news. What we should really focus on is what innovative applications can emerge from the combination of AI and blockchain—that's the main theme this year.

I'm tired of the same old talk about quantum computing. Every year, someone loudly claims it's the end of the world, but what happens? It still keeps running. Instead of wasting time on quantum cryptography after all the fuss, I want to know if these two AI protocols can truly break through the圈.

Quantum computing has been hyped up way too much. There are only a few things we really need to worry about. Completely overhauling the entire tech stack is just a waste of time.
