Large Ethereum asset management firm Bitmine has recently taken new actions. 50 minutes ago, they transferred 74,880 ETH into the Ethereum PoS staking contract, with a market value of approximately $219 million. This transfer marks their first participation in the Ethereum staking ecosystem.
From the data, Bitmine currently holds 4.066 million ETH. Based on the current annualized yield (APY) of 3.12%, if all assets are staked, they could earn about 126,800 ETH in interest income over a year. At the current price of $2,927 per ETH, this income is equivalent to over RMB 371 million.
This move is quite interesting. Large institutions are beginning to take staking yields seriously, indicating that Ethereum's ecosystem revenue model is gaining attention from institutional capital. As more funds enter staking, the overall network security will be further strengthened.

Wow, this is just the first batch. I wonder what will happen when more institutions follow suit.

Bro, are you gradually building a position? Only moving a little at 74,880
With this move by Bitmine, it seems they are really optimistic about staking
Wait, they hold 4.066 million tokens? That number is a bit scary
Staking annualized yield is 3.12%, feels a bit low... still the safest option
Another big player is entering, small investors are getting more competitive
The initial test was over 74,000 in volume, is this the rhythm of going all-in?
Basically, it's just institutions harvesting ordinary people's FOMO
Now the ETH network is a bit more stable, but could it be controlled by big players?
Bitmine's move is quite clever, I would do the same
No problem with the contract, but I have some doubts about this point

This is just the beginning. Once the whales start following the trend and staking, ETH's liquidity will become much tighter.

Large institutions are also starting to exploit staking rewards, it seems the competition has really heated up.

Damn, Bitmine has finally caught on, and you're only now starting to stake?
Wait, 4.06 million ETH? How much is that... Never mind, my brain isn't enough to handle this.
If I had known staking yields were this attractive, why didn't I act sooner?
Now that's good, once big players enter the market, our retail investors' gains might be diluted again.
But on the other hand, this indeed shows that Ethereum staking has become the mainstream choice.
