ngl the flower metaphor thing is giving late-night thought experiment energy, but like... arguably the underlying game theoretical implications here are non-trivial? path dependency of both systems notwithstanding, the incentive structures diverge pretty dramatically. stakeholder alignment issues or whatever, hard to say without seeing the full framework tbh.
