The painful realization hit me hard: no amount of conviction from chat comments can substitute for doing your own research (DYOR) before committing real money to cryptocurrency, even if it’s just a small position.

Adding to Losing Positions Without a Strategy

As prices fell on positions I held, I kept buying more, thinking every dip was an opportunity. I had no plan, no target price, no exit strategy. I just kept throwing money at it, hoping for a miraculous bounce. What I created instead was a lopsided portfolio with concentration risk and unlimited downside potential.
