Bitcoin faces a credibility test: it's flat when tech stocks are rallying, silent when gold and silver surge. Critics point out a troubling disconnect—if Bitcoin doesn't move in tandem with other assets during favorable conditions, what catalyst will finally push it higher? Some argue the answer is bleak: perhaps nothing will. This raises fundamental questions about Bitcoin's role as a portfolio diversifier and whether its correlation patterns with equities and precious metals truly support the narrative of independent value accumulation.

Isn't this logic reversed? Bitcoin's independence is the selling point.

tbh the "what's the catalyst" crowd never learns... they're obsessing over correlation matrices when they should be tracking actual on-chain metrics lmao. been watching btc do its own thing for years while i'm over here calculating optimal tx windows and somehow *still* losing money to gas spikes. maybe the real correlation was the failed txs we made along the way 💀

Bitcoin is being criticized again? Honestly, I've heard these analyses so many times already.
