UNISWAP FEE SWITCH PROPOSAL “UNIFICATION” PASSES BY A LANDSLIDE
The #Uniswap protocol fee switch proposal, UNIfication, has passed with overwhelming support. The vote recorded approximately 125 million $UNI in favor, versus 742 UNI against.
After a two-day timelock, Uniswap Labs will burn 100 million UNI tokens and activate the fee switch for Uniswap v2 and v3 on Ethereum mainnet, initiating ongoing burns of UNI tokens and Unichain-generated fees.
