The Hidden Game: When Influencers Talk, Are They Buying or Selling?

It's a pattern seen across crypto and beyond. An influential voice builds massive following, gains credibility over time. Then comes the promotion—enthusiastic endorsements, carefully crafted narratives about why *this particular asset* is about to explode. Followers pile in, excitement builds, prices move upward.

But here's what often happens next: while the community is still accumulating, the influencer quietly takes profits and exits. The bags they were shilling? Already unloaded at the peak.

This dynamic creates a fundamental trust problem. When recommendation and personal financial interest are misaligned, followers become unwitting participants in someone else's exit strategy. It's not unique to crypto—this pattern repeats across industries, from trading gurus to product promoters.

The question every investor should ask: Is this person still holding what they're promoting? Or are they already gone?

This routine is so familiar, it's basically the daily performance in the crypto world. --- It's the same old story... I've seen through it long ago, but the problem is most people don't want to see through it at all. --- So the key is to check the address; everything is on the chain. Don't talk so much. --- Hey, have you ever thought that the cruelest way to cut leeks is actually this slow storytelling method? --- Really, this is the most despicable part—using trust as a weapon. --- I just want to ask, how many people actually verify this issue... probably not many. --- Honestly, it's human nature; there are always people betting they can beat the timing of exit scams. --- It’s always like this, the cycle keeps repeating. --- The most outrageous thing is that they are especially good at storytelling, more dedicated than drug traffickers.

Once they sell out, they start to talk down; I've seen this trick too many times.

I've seen through this trick a long time ago. What are they saying? It's just the same script of big players repeatedly harvesting retail investors.

That's why I never follow the trend and buy coins recommended by big influencers... it's all just a scam.

NGL, I've seen through it long ago. The problem is that most people are still acting as bagholders. This trick is so old, the ones really making money wouldn't be rambling nonsense. Everyone has already run, and only the retail investors are still murmuring "long-term holding." Face-slapping scene: some big influencers had already liquidated their positions long ago.

Old tricks, I've seen them too many times --- Really, it's always the same show... hype first, then run --- Good question, but most people don't really want to know the answer --- That's why I never follow the trend and buy any coins that are hyped by others --- Hold or dump, just look at the wallet address and you'll understand everything --- Exactly, but who really checks their wallets? --- It's the same old story, influence = cash crop machine, so obvious --- The key is that believers would rather be exploited than admit they've been scammed --- Someone should have exposed this long ago, Twitter is full of it every day --- When Bitcoin rises, no one asks; when it falls, it's all these kinds of discussions
