Every individual who actively chooses to disappear is fighting the hardest battle of their life—eliminating their former self to create a completely new one. To do this, they activate the ultimate solo mode, pulling all their strength back into themselves, solely to win the most fierce and challenging fight of their life. A fierce tiger roars in the forest only to declare sovereignty. But I’ve never heard of top experts exposing their whereabouts when they truly strike. If someone actively chooses to vanish, it’s likely because they’ve found their main life goal, and it’s a goal that’s extremely difficult to achieve. During this period, all the苦 (hardship) they endure can only be slowly absorbed by themselves—no one will know how many sleepless nights they’ve endured, nor how many distractions they’ve abandoned as they approach their target. Yet, it is precisely this solitary suffering that accelerates one’s growth.

This period of focused, dedicated effort will inevitably allow them to surpass those around them. The most魅力 (charming) moment in life is when one is indifferent to the people and things around them. The best state in life at a certain stage is to hide oneself first and focus on what matters most to oneself. Wherever people gather in this world, the discussions are usually about three things: first, showing off in a roundabout way; second, exaggerating to belittle others; third, peeking at each other and stirring up trouble. Not everyone has the courage to cut off external disturbances. Focusing solely on a tough goal, striving for daily self-breakthroughs—these days of主动销声匿迹 (voluntary disappearance)—are a person’s period of rising fortune and their best state. At this time, choosing to stay low-key minimizes resistance to action. There are no flowers, no applause—just continuous self-improvement every day, conquering what seem like impossible obstacles one after another. They understand that苦事 (hardship) should not be flaunted, and乐事 (joy) should not be proclaimed. They also know to avoid闲事 (idle matters), not envy others, and not waste energy on trivial people and things. They focus solely on surpassing their past selves and on pleasing their current inner self. Flowing water does not compete for first place; it is truly unstoppable. Temporary concealment is not retreat but a preparation for the subsequent surge. A momentary disappearance does not mean defeat—any silent departure is always followed by a thunderous return.
