For anyone stepping into the space for the first time, my view of @Velvet_Capital may sound unusual I treat it as a controlled environment for learning how DeFAI behaves with small amounts of capital

Here’s how I explore it:

I begin with a tiny swap, something so small that the outcome doesn’t matter
After getting a feel for the system, I shift into the Trenches and test how entries and exits react with slightly larger but still low stakes positions
During all of this, I track how many Gems each action creates and how my overall exposure adjusts as I try different moves

Approaching it this way allows you to understand both DeFi mechanics and Velvet’s automation layer in one continuous learning loop, all while keeping risk close to zero

So if you’re just getting started, don’t think of Velvet as a platform where you must chase profit from day one.
See it instead as a guided sandbox a place built for developing instincts slowly and safely
