Why do Vietnamese men choose Crypto – and become addicted to Futures?
Not necessarily because of technology. Not necessarily because of the dream of wealth.
But because… of the pressure to be the breadwinner.
Salaries grow slowly. Houses are too expensive. Family still needs to be supported in many ways.
Meanwhile, Futures says a very “sweet” phrase:
“Just 1–2 trades can change your life.”
Little capital. High leverage. Win quickly. Lose just as fast.
Futures is like a “legal casino” of the new era — where men bet both money and their self-esteem.
Win → feel confident. Lose → afraid to tell the wife. Losing more → become more defensive. The more defensive → easier to go all-in.
Initially, it’s “earning money for the family.” Eventually, it becomes… a psychological burden.
Crypto is not bad. Technology is not at fault.
There is only one very real thing:
Many men are using Futures to escape the pressure of being the breadwinner — but they end up caught in a different, heavier vortex.
If you’ve ever traded Futures, perhaps you understand.
