Recently noticed that ASTER has been doing something pretty interesting.
Their new buyback wallet (address 0x573...6fF4) swept $2.2 million worth of ASTER from the market in the past day and is still holding $800,000 in stablecoins. Looks pretty aggressive, right?
But here’s the issue—during the same period, another wallet linked to the team (0x207...a757) has been dumping tokens, selling off nearly $1 million worth.
On one hand, they’re making a big show of supporting the price with buybacks, while on the other, they’re quietly cashing out. Honestly, what kind of game are they playing here? Do they really see retail investors as exit liquidity?

Buying back with the left hand and selling with the right hand, I can see through this trick with my eyes closed. It's a typical manipulator's game; retail investors are still happily unaware.

The classic left hand upside down right hand, I've seen this trick quite a few times. Looking at the data, the ROI is indeed unattractive.

Buybacks with one hand and dumping with the other—this script is way too obvious.

Buybacks on one hand, dumping on the other—I've seen this script before. Classic rug-pull move.

Buying while selling at the same time, I've seen this trick before—left hand sells, right hand buys, perfect.

Buybacks with one hand and selling off with the other—this surgical maneuver is truly impressive. The fate of retail investors as bag holders is sealed just like that.
