Seven years of ups and downs in the crypto space, turning 50,000 principal into 7 million, and surviving three bull and bear cycles—looking back now, I owe my survival to a few iron rules.
First, a lesson learned: I once saw a big player drunkenly confess to losing 50 million in just three days of leveraged trading. That night, I realized that surviving longer is more important than making quick profits.
My strategy is simple—I only pick coins that have real-world applications and community consensus. I avoid pure hype and speculative junk completely. Timing is even more critical: I only enter at the tail end of bear markets, when market sentiment is at its lowest, and then wait for the bull market to reap the rewards.
I always watch for two signals to exit near the top: when Bitcoin market dominance falls below 40%, it means capital is starting to flee; when the ETH/BTC ratio breaks above 0.1, it often signals a coming pullback.
Bitcoin is my anchor. When prices rise, I swap alts for BTC; when they drop, I use BTC to buy the dip. I use grid trading to swing trade. I hold coins long-term without moving them, and use short-term quant strategies to capture price differences—this combination has yielded decent returns.
In the end, patience is the rarest asset. Lay low at the bottom, dig deep into projects, don’t chase pumps, and don’t act rashly—if you survive the winter, the bull market rewards will naturally come to you. When you’re headed in the right direction, only then does hard work have real meaning.

50 million lost in three days, this guy really dares to play. If I lost like this once, I would quit immediately haha
After surviving two bear markets, I finally understand that staying alive is more important than anything. I really can't afford to touch contracts
BTC dominance at 40%, ETH ratio at 0.1—these two data points I need to remember. Next time I panic sell, I'll look at these
Exactly, I won't touch trash coins no matter how cheap they are. My tears and blood wallet have taught me this lesson
Long-term holding and short-term arbitrage—I'm using this combo too. It all depends on whose patience runs out first
Lying in wait at low levels is the hardest. Watching the price drop makes the mind want to collapse, but the big shots are right
This time I didn't chase the high, so I consider myself half a win for half a month. Next time, I'll keep holding back

It sounds like the heartfelt words of seasoned investors, but I've heard too many stories of contracts being liquidated...

Living longer is indeed more important than earning quickly; this sentence struck a chord with me.

7 million sounds great, but how many actually survive? I've heard too many stories of contracts being liquidated, but this guy managing to stick around until now really has something.

7 million? Bro, how much patience do you have? I went all in back when it was 3,000.

Seven years and 7 million sounds great, but that story about 50 million is even more thrilling... Honestly, holding on is way harder than earning.

7 million sounds great, but true wisdom is surviving to see the next bull market.

7 million sounds impressive, but the key is actually getting it in hand to count as a win.

7 million sounds great, but it took so many years of compounding from 50,000 to reach that number... The return on investment is just so-so.

Hearing about that $50 million liquidation is really painful. Why can't I control myself?
I need to remember this signal for topping out, so I don't chase the highs and get trapped next time.
7 years and 700x is truly impressive, but I think most people can't hold out that long.
BTC as a ballast is decent, but it really tests your resolve.
Why do I always get in before the bottom during a bear market? I still need to keep working on my discipline.
