Recently, there has been a lot of activity in the humanoid robot sector, with several news items worth noting.

Morgan Stanley conducted a survey with quite interesting results—62% of domestic companies may introduce humanoid robots within the next three years. This is not a low percentage, indicating that industry acceptance is rapidly increasing.

On NVIDIA’s side, Jensen Huang publicly expressed his anticipation for Elon Musk’s robotics project, using the phrase “incredibly excited.” Given NVIDIA’s status in the AI chip field, this statement reflects the tech community’s growing interest in embodied intelligence.

Mass production progress is also accelerating domestically. Zhiyuan Robotics has scheduled a ceremony for the rollout of its 5,000th general-purpose robot on December 8. This number marks a turning point from proof of concept to scaled production.

On the policy front, there is also support. Beijing plans to build the world’s first national-level humanoid robot competition and training base in the Olympic Center area, and the event solicitation for the 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games has already begun.

On Figure’s side, they showcased the running capabilities of the F.03 robot, whose control system is powered by an onboard neural network developed by the internal Helix team. Judging from the demo, the movement fluidity is moving closer to practical use.

Overall, mass hardware production, policy support, and technological iteration are advancing in sync, and the pace of progress in this sector may be faster than expected.

62% of companies plan to implement humanoid robots within three years? That number is outrageous, it feels like they're just hyping the concept again. I believe in the production of 5,000 units, but how many will actually be used in practice?

62% of companies plan to adopt humanoid robots within three years? Damn, how much would that cost? Small and medium-sized enterprises probably can't afford it.

62% of companies plan to implement robots within three years. How much will that cost? Hopefully, it won't be just another wave of retail investors getting exploited and then done.

62% of companies are adopting robots, the industry chain is about to go crazy. Even Jensen Huang is excited, chips are selling like hotcakes. Zhiyuan has rolled out 5,000 units—now that's real progress, not just talk on paper. Beijing is building bases and holding competitions; are they aiming to make robots an Olympic event? Figure's running looks pretty good, but when will it actually start working? Rolling out on a large scale within three years? That's a bit fast and aggressive.

62% of companies will adopt humanoid robots within three years? Is that for real? Are domestic companies really this competitive? Even Elon Musk is excited, so chip manufacturers are definitely going to make a fortune again. Zhiyuan has rolled out 5,000 units, which seems like a lot, but can they really sell that many once mass production starts? With policy support and capital pouring in, it feels like this time it’s for real. Figure’s running posture looks decent, but let’s wait and see when they actually get into factories. Will there really be large-scale adoption within three years? I’m a bit skeptical, but also pretty excited. Now it all comes down to whose technology can really be implemented. The numbers on paper all look good.

62% of companies plan to deploy humanoid robots within three years? That number is pretty intense—it feels like production is starting before the instruction manuals are even finished.
