Why are so many people hoarding ETH, with so much bullish news, yet still going short? (The high short strategy will be maintained until this Wednesday at 11:59 PM!)
So far today, the lowest has been around 3090. There won't be much volatility during the day session. Since ETH dropped to around 3050 last Friday night, I've been saying that for the next 3-5 days, the main strategy should definitely be shorting at highs. Let me say it again: until this Wednesday night at 11:59 PM, the main approach is to short at the highs.
First of all, 3050 is a very critical level. Starting last Monday, ETH started to get strong. I was also going long for the entire week.
All the bigger profits were from longs. However, since last Friday ((12:05) PM), after breaking below 3050, which was also the starting point of the previous plunge,
From a technical perspective, the market definitely needs a pullback after a surge. From a fundamental perspective, Japan’s rate hikes and liquidity tightening, as well as the Fed’s rate cut expectations, have already played out in the market.
The market is all about selling the rumor and buying the fact.
My consistent view is: we’re trading contracts, and the essence of contracts is quick in and out, maximizing capital efficiency!
The purpose of leverage is to increase efficiency, get in and out quickly; you won’t lose much if you’re wrong, but if your strategy is right, leverage makes your gains soar fast!
From the first day of this month, Monday, December 1, I started going long on both BTC and ETH, and went long for the whole week. The BTC profit was 5700 points, ETH profit was only 258 points.
From the profit summary, you can see that almost all positions were closed for profit within the day!
To summarize again:
Until before this Thursday, focus on shorting. Go long during the day session, but the day session longs won’t have much volatility to harvest.
The main action is during the US night session. Every time it rises but doesn’t break key levels, don’t overthink it.
If you can’t judge well, just open a small short, then chase the downside as it drops. Don’t know how to chase?
If you didn’t exit when it was high, exit during the pullback, or set up a trailing stop for your profits!
