The reason Bitcoin Core has lasted so many years is never because of “obligation,” but because there are truly people who genuinely want to keep it alive.

To be honest, some old players in the community have quietly contributed to the underlying layers of Bitcoin from very early on. After all these years, you don’t see anyone constantly boasting about what they’ve done, nor do they use it as a marketing gimmick. Why? Because they truly believe this thing has a future.

That’s how open source projects work—they aren’t propped up by empty promises, but by a group of people willing to invest their time and effort, grinding away bit by bit. How far blockchain can go ultimately depends on how many people are truly willing to walk this path together.

Ha, this is the real deal, much more reliable than those who boast every day.

Really? This is the core. Compared to those projects that boast every day, I am more impressed by the people who work silently.

Really, those old folks work quietly without making a fuss—they’re much more interesting than the ones who brag all day. That said, this kind of spirit is truly rare; nowadays everyone’s just telling stories to raise funds. Persistence will always be recognized. The thing is, persistence itself is already the answer. That’s why I still have some faith in this space, even though there are tons of trash projects.

Indeed, those who quietly get big things done are the real pillars, much better than those who make noise every day.

nah this is the sentiment manipulation playbook in disguise... real devs don't post about their grind, that's literally how you control the narrative. genius move tbh

This is true conviction, not just empty words.

honestly this hits different. the thing is, when you actually dig into the bitcoin core commit history, you see the same names showing up year after year with zero fanfare. that's not marketing, that's just... governance primitives in action. people actually aligned with the protocol's long-term vision rather than quarterly metrics.

This is true conviction, unlike some projects that hype themselves every day.

This is true belief, unlike some projects that shout slogans every day just to fleece investors.
