Heads up: if you're getting weird prompts on your Gmail, you might be in the crosshairs right now.

US cyber defense folks just dropped an urgent advisory for anyone using Gmail, Outlook, or iCloud. Their advice? Don't wait around—rotate those passwords immediately, ditch SMS-based 2FA (it's basically useless against modern attacks), and get passkeys set up ASAP.

For crypto users especially, this matters. Your email is the master key to exchanges, wallets, and recovery systems. One compromised inbox can cascade into total loss of funds. Passkeys offer phishing-resistant authentication that SMS codes simply can't match.

Take ten minutes today. Your future self will thank you.

Damn, if your email gets hacked, your coins can really be gone just like that. I just realized how serious this is.

It's really over if your email gets hacked—they can wipe out your crypto.

Now I really need to change my password, or else one day my exchange account might be gone.
