Just spotted a large short position—some whale moved 5,000 ETH worth $15.66 million within two hours.
The specific route is quite interesting: first, 5,000 ETH was borrowed from a lending protocol. Then, it was split and transferred in two ways—4,000 ( ($12.49 million )) sent to a top exchange, and another 1,044 ( ($3.26 million )) sent to another platform. The most crucial part is the follow-up action: less than 40 minutes after the ETH arrived, $12.45 million USDT was withdrawn from the first exchange back to the wallet, which basically matches the value of those 4,000 ETH.
This borrow-and-sell move is a clear bearish signal. The whale is openly siding with the bears. Whether ETH can hold its current price may now depend on whether the bulls have enough buying power.

Damn, it's the same old trick again. The whales are shorting while we're still buying the dip.

It’s the same old trick of borrowing coins to dump the market. These whales really aren’t afraid of crashing it…
The bearish signal is way too obvious this time. Who can withstand a dump of $15.66 million?
The market is about to get tough again, better protect the coins I have.
The big players are all selling, while retail investors are still sleepwalking.
At this rate, the bears are about to take off.
