Revolut incorporates Solana
Revolut is a neobank founded in 2015 in the United Kingdom.
The entity has more than 65 million users.
Revolut, one of the largest digital banks in Europe, has added Solana to its list of supported networks.
From now on, its clients can make payments, transfers, and staking through this network with USDC, USDT, and SOL.
The neobank, founded in 2015 in the United Kingdom, has 65 million users—many of them in Spain—of which 15 million use digital assets.
Revolut thus joins a select group of leading global fintechs that integrate or use Solana in their services, including SoFi, Cash App, Majority, Venmo, Zepz, Visa, Fiserv, Worldpay, and Western Union.
This was not Revolut’s only announcement. In recent hours, a decentralized trading platform partnered with the neobank so that users can buy digital assets with their Revolut balance or debit card, directly from the platform’s apps.
With these announcements, Revolut continues to expand the available networks in its app. It’s worth recalling that, in May of this year, the integration of Lightning Network was reported, which is already operational in the United Kingdom and the European Union, and allows users to make micropayments and everyday transactions with Bitcoin almost instantly and with very low fees.
